Role and Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for providing L1/L2 support to end-users who integrate and use the Observability toolchain.
• You shall work in an Agile, collaborative environment to onboard, deploy, configure, and maintain tools, which may include software installations, updates, and core services.
• You will maintain the reliability, stability, and efficiency of the platform, including being an active participant in incident response and incident management, which may include being on-call
• Be the interface between development and operations engineering by guiding teams towards best practices on how to leverage the observability toolchain.
• Ensure the observability platform is optimized and operating within SLI and SLO's.
• Collaborate with application development teams to configure monitoring / alerting / reporting for logs and metrics using tools like Splunk, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Rigor, Cloudwatch, Alertmanager, etc.
• Perform installation and upgrade of Splunk, and Splunk forwarders
• Provide tooling that enables teams to self-serve onboarding and troubleshooting requests
• Working experience using regular expressions in data extraction from log files.
• Query logs and correlates data with metrics to provide application teams support with root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development and support teams to resolve performance-related issues.

Required Skills:

• 6-8 Years of experience in the IT Industry.
• 4+ years of extensive experience using observability tooling.
• 4+ years of experience in public (AWS) or hybrid cloud environments.
• Source and project control GitHub Enterprise & Jira.
• Observability tools such as Splunk / Elastic Search, Prometheus, Grafana, Rigor, Distributed Tracing, DataDog.
• Continuous Integration platforms such as Gitlab CI /CD, Terraform & Argocd.
• Hands-on experience with deployment and configuration of Prometheus
• Experience with HELM deployments
• B.Tech, MCA, or equivalent graduate degree from a reputed college.
