Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and providing technical support to resolve any issues that may arise. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing user requirements, developing software solutions, and conducting testing and debugging activities. With your expertise in DevOps, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of application development processes and ensure the efficient deployment of applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze user requirements and design software solutions. - Develop and maintain applications in accordance with business process and application requirements. - Conduct testing and debugging activities to ensure the quality and functionality of applications. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve application issues. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of application development processes. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to application development. - Assist in the deployment and integration of applications with existing systems. - Ensure the security and integrity of applications by implementing appropriate measures. - Document and maintain technical specifications and user manuals for applications. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. - Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. - Ability to automate software deployment and configuration processes. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps. - This position is based at our Kolkata office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
