In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, Implement and maintain control-M job scheduling workflows.
• Monitor and manage batch job processing, troubleshoot job failures and ensure timely resolution.
• Work on integration of Calypso with upstream and downstream systems using APIs, messaging or file-based interfaces.
• Need to demonstrate problem solving skills by providing suggestive ways and workarounds while at blocker instances to not hamper delivery or timelines.
• Provide on-going input into the overall process improvement of the Quality Engineering discipline. Mentor Automation Test Engineers and Exploratory Testers within the cross functional team.
• Work across all POD activities and support across cross POD teams/ Quality Engineering teams in ensuring any testing related dependencies / touch points are in place. Delivering well structured, maintainable, and fully tested systems in time and budget. Working through the development and support phases of project delivery.
• Need to close the gaps and work closely with team and measure the improvements. Contribution towards efficiency / Value addition.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Control-M:

• Strong hands-on experience with Control-M job scheduling and automation.
• Ability to design and manage complex batch workflows.
• Experience integrating Control-M with various applications and systems.
• Monitoring job execution and setting up alerts.
• Optimizing job chains for performance and reliability.

Calypso:

• Proficient experience in Calypso (Version 16 or higher).
• Experience with Calypso engine configuration, workflows and messaging
• Knowledge about Calypso architecture.

Domain:

• Solid understanding of Derivatives OTC trade clearing processes.
• Deep knowledge of capital markets trading products and tradelifecycle.
• Testing Frameworks and Quality Assurance
• Integration of unit, functional, and regression tests.
• Experience with automated testing tools: JUnit, TestNG.
• Create, maintain and execute regression tests frameworks.
• CI/CD Tools and Practices
• Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipelines.
• Experience with Jenkins pipelines (scripted or declarative).
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps culture.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Scripting languages- Python (required)/Bash
• Experience with DevOps tools such as GITHub, Confluence, and Jira
• Team player; multi-tasking; good testing skills; organized self-starter.
