What You'll do:

Provide technical expertise in IaaS and IaC, with a focus on network automation. 
Automate network infrastructure and help optimize network automation processes. 
Stay up to date with the latest hyperscalers' technologies and understand their business potential. 
Utilize state-of-the art IaC tools like Terraform or Pulumi to deploy, operate and maintain hyperscalers’ Network Infrastructures. 
Build, operate and maintain Cross-Cloud and Private Cloud connectivity services. 
Drive technology strategy by identifying and implementing innovative solutions for customer and DC connectivity. 
Utilize OSS Monitoring and Logging solutions like ELK, Grafana and Prometheus to improve MTTR for Critical Infrastructure. 
Collaborate effectively with a global and diverse team, including network engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders. 
Adapt to variable working hours to cover the US and EMEA shift (ability to work early APJ). 
Participate in 24/7 operations model and maintain SAP's global ISP infrastructure. 

What you bring:

Master’s degree or proven equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
5+ years technical experience with IaaS and IaC, specifically in network automation.  
Proficiency in DevOps tools (Git, GitHub, CI/CD Pipelines). 
Experience with Linux OS environment including virtualized/containerized infrastructure. 
Knowledge in at least two programming languages (preferably Golang, Python). 
Strong understanding of the business potential of the latest hyperscalers' technologies. Related certifications are a plus. 
Deep knowledge of wide area network protocols, including BGP, MPLS, Segment Routing, and data center routing and switching. Certification in Service Provider Network field is a plus. 
Proven ability to drive technology strategy and implement innovative solutions. 
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team. 
Proficiency in English written and oral
Readiness to work early shift occasionally is a plus
