The Purpose of This Role

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who has good knowledge on DevOps, AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, Angular UI and can play a Cloud Ops/SRE role for products that are hosted on AWS cloud. This individual should have hands on experience on developing and maintaining CICD pipelines, EKS support and maintenance, Maintaining Stash repository, automating manual processes and release process improvement. This individual will be partnering with product delivery teams across the firm to help them with onboarding applications onto the Cloud, providing suggestions and helping with the right infrastructure configurations on the cloud. He/she will be actively involved in the transformation of the support operating model with an aggressively changing application infrastructure from On-prem and AWS native model to Kubernetes (EKS). Additionally, this position requires being a detail oriented, creative, energetic, self-motivated problem solver with the ability to analyze and utilize a broad range of technologies. The candidate must have strong communication skills and experience interacting with a geographically diverse team.

• You will be part of the Cloud Operations function within the DCS team that will be responsible for evolving the future state operational model with extensive application footprint on the cloud.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in developing standards, artifacts, and support models.

• Responsible for developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines that are owned by DCS Cloud Ops.

• Maintain Git repository, define branch strategy, perform code merge.

• Maintain Kubernetes platform, EKS cluster creation, rehydration, Helm charts, Deployments.

• Create and maintain JenkinsCore workflows.

• Support developers with any issues related to Cloud services.

• Senior management reporting with metrics on Cloud Operations capabilities, EKS migration and other services supported in Cloud.

The Skills that are Key to this role

Technical/Process

• 10+ years hands on experience in developing CI/CD pipelines for AWS, Azure Cloud platforms and Kubernetes platforms (AWS EKS and Azure AKS)

• Experience providing support for Linux & Windows operating systems

• Experience with troubleshooting OS related issues

• Experience in monitoring, system performance data collection and analysis, and reporting

• Hands on experience with Git, Jenkins, Ansible CI/CD tools

• Working experience on container technology – Kubernetes/Docker

• Working experience on AWS and Azure services

• Automation – Python scripting, YAML and JSON

• Unix/Linux – Write Shell/PERL scripts proficiently and aware of most of the basic commands

• Ability to handle incident crisis bridge related to CI/CD pipelines and AWS, Azure services

• Familiarity with ITIL framework and/or Agile principles in the modern workplace

• Hands on experience with Datadog

• AWS, CKA and Azure certifications are preferred

• Power-BI knowledge and ability to build dashboard is preferred
