We are looking for a talented and experienced Cloud Data Architect to join our data engineering team. This role involves experience in designing and managing architecture of DT Americas applications. candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and automation.

• Designing and implementing cloud strategies and solutions that align with business goals for security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
• overseeing data architecture strategy,
• ensuring alignment with global data governance and analytic objectives.
• leading data architecture discussions and provide technical guidance to stakeholders and developers.
• develop regional data architecture roadmap in alignment with global enterprise data strategy.
• define architecture standards and best practices for data ingestion, processing, storage, and access.
• ensure scalability, security, performance, and cost-efficiency of cloud data solutions.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including their services, security features, and networking concepts.
• Architecture and Design: Ability to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures, including creating cloud-native applications and migration plans.
• Security and Compliance: A strong understanding of cloud security best practices, security tools (like IAM), and compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible is highly desirable.
• Performance and Optimization: Skills in monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing cloud performance and costs.
• Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps, and leadership, and to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
